Texworld Paris 2026: Guide for Turkish Textile Exporters

All Posts

Texworld Paris is one of the world's most established and influential textile sourcing fairs. Organized by Messe Frankfurt, the fair is held twice yearly — early February (spring) and early September (autumn) — at Paris Le Bourget. The 2026 spring edition runs February 2–4, and the autumn edition August 31–September 2.

Who Participates in Texworld?

Texworld Paris connects fabric and textile manufacturers with global buyers. Thousands of products are displayed in yarn, woven and knit fabrics, printed fabrics, technical textiles, accessories, and lace categories. China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Turkey lead among participants. Turkey has a strong brand image with natural and organic fiber products, high-quality woven and knit fabrics.

Opportunities for the Turkish Textile Sector

Turkey is one of Europe's largest textile suppliers and Texworld Paris offers the best opportunity to capitalize on this advantage. European fashion brands prefer nearby sourcing countries; Turkey's geographic advantage, short delivery times, and high flexibility capacity attract great demand. Sustainable textiles, GOTS-certified products, and recycled fabrics will be among the prominent categories in 2026.

Participation Preparation

You need to apply 3–4 months before the fair. Minimum 9 m² stand size is sufficient; choose a neat stand design to display fabric samples well. Prepare your English catalog and fabric swatch collection in advance. Making advance appointments with key buyers is critical — use LinkedIn and Texworld's official B2B platform.

Practical Information for Paris

Direct flights from Istanbul to Paris take approximately 3.5 hours. The fair is located at Le Bourget, very close to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport; 10 minutes by taxi from the airport. Paris hotels can be expensive during fair week — more affordable options are available in the Bourget area. Apply for a Schengen visa at least 4–6 weeks in advance.
